Fire Department

EMFC provides fire-rescue services including fire suppression, vehicle accident rescues and emergency medical first response to name just a few.  We also provide first line mutual aid to the Binghamton Regional Airport Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Department and our neighboring fire departments. We provide these services out of one station located at 847 East Maine Road.

EMS 56

EMS 56

EMS 56 is a Chevy Tahoe, 4WD. It carries medical equipment and is the primary response vehicle for the med team.

Brush 56

Brush 56

Brush 56 is a 1986 Ford F350. It carries 200 gallons of water and a 250 GPM pump. This truck is set up to go off road and provide fire suppression in wildland areas in and around our district. The Brush truck is also used as a Fire Police vehicle and is used to close roads when needed.

PumperTanker 5611

PumperTanker 5611 is a 1990 Sutphen custom built pumper tanker with 2000 gallons of water, a 1250 GPM pump and 150 gallon class B foam capacity. PT5611 serves as our reserve and pout of district PT, responding to all calls outside the district and second due to fire calls within the district.

PumperTanker 561

PumperTanker 561 is a 2004 4-Guys custom built pumper tanker with 2500 gallons of water, a 1750 GPM pump and 150 gallon class B foam and 50 gallon Class A foam capacity. PT561 serves as our primary PT, responding first due to fire calls within the district.

Rescue 56

Rescue 56

Rescue 56 is a 2013 Marion custom built rescue. The rescue was designed to be able to respond to automobile accidents and provide all the necessary tools in one vehicle. The recuse carries 400 gallons of water and a 500 GPM pump with a single preconnected discharge in the bumper. The rescue also carries our genesis rescue tools (Jaws of life) along with other rescue tools.
